St Margaret - Village Profile

St Margaret is mainly situated on either side of the C950 - the Halesworth to Homersfield road. The centre of the village is clusted around one of a selection of grazing Greens. Fortunately volunteers mow the Green allowing children to play and this is also the site of the Annual Village BBQ. Like St Cross, most employment is found in the surrounding towns of Bungay, Halesworth and Harleston which are all approximately five to six miles away.

The Waveney District Council profile on the villages of St Cross & St Margaret contains a wealth of socio-ecconomic information. (Data is sourced from the 2011 census). Click here to see it
