Flixton is the larger of the three villages, and also has the larger employers - the Two Sisters Chicken processing factory and Waveney Mushrooms. Flixton also has a Public house The Flixton Buck ,formally owned by Alan Breeze, who played with the popular radio band of Billy Cotton, now run by local lad Philip Murray. Situated behind the Buck is the Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Musem, home to many aircraft, and memorablia. It also houses the Wallis Auto Gyro collection including 'Little Nelly' as used in the James Bond film. The village has a relatively modern Village hall with a large car park
